CIC's Initiatives

The UACIC accomplishes its mission by building partnerships, identifying and evaluating economic development opportunities, making recommendations to city officials, and advocating for and participating in projects that bring economic vitality to the community.

As UA's economic development program began to take shape in the late 1990s, so did the creation of the City’s first economic development incentive programs. The UACIC and the City of Upper Arlington have a number of financial incentives available to encourage businesses to relocate here or to remain in the City as they grow.
